Information
á
These courses are ÒmodularÓ. A student may take both, even though
they are in the same slot. This does require a responsible attitude
and work outside of class!
Courses marked with an asterisk are what we call ÒmodularÓ. This means that a student can take 2 courses in the same slot. In this system, a student attends each class at a designated time as determined by the course teacher, then chooses which class to attend for the other periods in the cycle. Course work is then completed during ÒsparesÓ or at home. This method adds flexibility, however it does require organization, time management, a strong work ethic and a responsible attitude. Most students are successful however, it is not for everyone. Be sure to discuss this option with parents and advisors.
Private Music can also gain credit. See www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/cus/arts/pmo_appendix.html
